You guys, I think I gave a part of my soul in the process of this fic's creation. It's another one of those that I was there for the birth of, and it's been amazing to see it transform from the original ideas into this version. The past few days have been a blur of editing (seriously, I see track changes when I close my eyes), and honestly, I'm amazed that it even got posted in time. :P

Some really awesome stuff in this--I think my very favorite aspect of it is the way Jess and Dean interact with each other, and I also love how realistic and down-to-earth the Sam/Jess relationship is. I don't want to say TOO much about the rest of it for fear of spoiling people, but there are some definite "oh, [Sam/Dean/Jess]" moments. ♥!

This is almost belated, but I think my brain is leaking out my ears from all the betaing (ilu, Clex!), SO. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JARED. ♥

In a spectacular act of complicity with the religious right, the Department of Health and Human Services Monday released a proposal that allows any federal grant recipient to obstruct a woman's access to contraception. In order to do this, the Department is attempting to redefine many forms of contraception, the birth control 40% of Americans use, as abortion. I know probably most to all of you know this, but Kwen would like me to point out to LJ at large that one of the fics for spn_j2_bigbang had all white font on the master list, and several are forcing non-default fonts and font sizes. (I don't mean for emphasis. I mean on the whole thing. -.-) One had indents on the ENTIRE fic. I know it may look shiny, but SAY NO TO RICH TEXT MODE, GUYS. >.<

Does anyone know anything bad against XP SP3? I read on a few sites that it could cause random freezes and crashes, but I think that might have been the beta version. I'm getting my backups up to date now, and I have recent system restore points, so if it fucks up my system, I think I'll be okay.

Tomorrow I think I'm gonna go inquire about jobs at a couple of Starbucks near here. Though there was a news story today about them closing a bunch of stores, so I'm not toooo hopeful. :\

I'm writing a little slip of a fic, and I wanted to have it to post this evening, but then there was cheesecake and Doctor Who AND OMG. D: So, um, hopefully by tomorrow!

Here is my art for reccea's spn_j2_bigbang fic In Production, which of course I think you all should read. :D I stressed a bit about making it come together, but I think it looks all right. I do want to apologize for the file sizes to people on slower connections--I couldn't make them any smaller and still retain quality resolution. Sorry!
